<줄거리>
지금껏 경험해본 게 얼마 되지도 않았는데, 쌓여온 실패의 경험들이 꽤나 많다. 그때마다 떠올리는 말, ‘이 세상에 노력으로 안 되는 건 없다.’ 노력하면 불가능이 없어? 안 되는 건 다 노력을 안 한 내 탓 인거고? 그럼, 이 세상에 자신의 꿈을 이루지 못한 어른들은 모두 제대로 노력하지 않은 실패자라 불러도 되는 건가? 아니잖아. 노력으로 안 되는 게 왜 없어? 선천적으로 불가능한 게 얼마나 많아. 마치 내가 아무리 해봐도 안 되는 휘파람처럼
Despite having limited life experiences, I’ve faced numerous failures. Whenever I think about it, the saying, There’s nothing in this world that can’t be achieved through effort, comes to mind. Does that mean there’s nothing impossible if you try hard enough? Is everything that can’t be achieved due to a lack of effort on my part? Then, are all the adults who haven’t realized their dreams simply failures who didn’t put in enough effort? That can’t be right. Why do people say there’s nothing that can’t be achieved through effort? There are so many things that are inherently impossible, like trying to whistle when you can’t.
<제작동기 / 기억에 남는 에피소드>
잘하는 게 아무것도 없는 것 같은데, 앞으로 나는 뭘 해야 할까? 과연 노력만이 정답인 걸까. 이와 같은 생각은 십대 청소년이라면 누구나 한 번쯤은 해봤을 고민이라 생각한다. 잠깐이나마 이 영화를 통해 그와 같은 복잡한 생각들을 정리해 볼 수 있는 기회를 만들고 싶었다.
